Kelly Marchal

Kelly Marchal (She/Her) founded Esprit de Merci in 2017, inspired by working with great teams and her experience leading through change. She is fueled by a desire to reduce the frustration, fatigue, and disconnect and dysfunction that result when teams aren’t aligned. Her work is based upon connection, gratitude and paying it forward. Kelly brings a unique and holistic combination of business consulting and leadership coaching services to for-profit and non-profit clients. She serves as a partner in helping them imagine, build and implement strategic plans that work today, position them for future success and stay true to what matters most. Before this, Kelly spent 24 years in management and executive roles with a global Fortune 50 company in both Finance and Human Resources. Her experience and expertise include strategic planning and analysis, financial modeling, mergers and acquisitions, organizational design and restructure, change management, employee engagement and leadership development. She is also a certified coach and visual facilitator. Her education includes a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Virginia Tech, a MBA with a concentration in Strategic Leadership from the University of Richmond, and Management Skills for International Business with INSEAD. Kelly received her coaching certification through iPEC. Community engagement has always been important to Kelly. She has served as a volunteer, member and board member with the United Way of Greater Richmond, the READ Center, the United Way of Greater Atlanta, Wellspring Living, the Historic Jackson Ward Association and the Well Collective. As a curious connector, Kelly enjoys exploring, learning, taking things apart and putting them back together in new and interesting ways, ultimately empowering and enabling leaders and teams to do great work.
