Group + Team Coaching

Group Coaching: Group coaching brings the coaching conversation into a small group context and deepens peer learning and networks. It offers an intimate conversation space focused on goal setting, deepening awareness around key issues, taking action, and accountability. Offered virtually for national clients as well as in-person in the Central Indiana area.

Team Coaching: Team coaching entails in-person executive or department team sessions to develop stronger team cohesiveness. They clarify expectations, roles and responsibilities, and develop goals and strategies aligned with the mission and vision of the organization.

What People Say About Us

In these trying times of balancing KPI’s with budgets and attempting clever new ways to attract qualified labor in a workforce shortage, Erin Slater and the round table executive coaching program was a breath of fresh air. Erin has a lot of resources at the ready to introduce trust building and take a deeper dive into intentional leadership with a cohort of leaders dealing with the same exact challenges and barriers we all face in the non-profit realm. Ann provided the one on one work necessary to incorporate all of the tools into our daily lives. I’m grateful to have been chosen to participate and look forward to watching our collective growth as a cohort and individually as we seek to make our community the best it can be for the people we serve.

When I applied to receive a scholarship for a year of Intentional Coaching and Consulting, it was because I had attended one workshop by Erin Slater in the Eberle series in January of 2020. I have done many of these development workshops, and this one resonated with me more than most. I used the concepts I learned there throughout the pandemic to better assess and communicate the decisions required during this difficult time. So, I was eager to learn more and dig deeper. Throughout 2022, with the help of Ann and Erin, I did just that. They are so supportive and insightful! I learned more about myself, helping me to formulate better goals for my professional development to become who I want to be. This experience really did stabilize my emotional regulation, help me communicate more effectively, lead others to evolve their own energies, and ultimately build my confidence and efficacy as a leader. During Willowstone Family Services’ September board meeting, a board member who is a past president commented that something had shifted and I was “noticeably a stronger, more confident Executive Director”. I reminded them of this Executive Coaching I was doing and that it really did help me. The current board president then said, “It shows.” The leadership team of staff directors at the meeting agreed. What more could I ask for?

What a privilege it was to be part of the Greater Lafayette Non-Profit Executive Coaching Cohort in 2022. I am a better leader and a better human as a result of my time in roundtable training with Erin Slater, one-on-one coaching with Ann Ritterspach, and on-going conversation with my fellow Greater Lafayette non-profit execs. The whole experience was rich. The tools were helpful. The concept of “Energy Leadership” was challenging and life-giving. The coaching and conversations were focused and formative. I am a clearer, more confident, more courageous, more content leader. I am a better husband and father. I am a better coworker and boss. What a gift to me and to those around me. This training was worth every penny and every ounce of time and energy. I highly recommend this training to any human being, especially to anyone in leadership.

Erin Slater coached our team during the pandemic. Not only did our team feel disconnected to one another but to those we serve as social distancing challenged the way we had provided services. This ended up being the perfect time to come together as a team and create an environment where we can use our leadership skills to support one another and grow professionally as a team. Erin challenged us to be reflective, intentional, and purpose driven in our work. Erin provided the gift of time and a new perspective to enhance our team. This coaching experience has made our team stronger and myself more effective as a leader.

The Nonprofit Roundtable Group Coaching experience has been a space for discovery, learning, growth and validation. Nonprofit life is hard – we give of ourselves in ways that mean so, so much; yet we often don’t realize how much that giving takes its toll on us. Exploring accountability and boundaries has been incredibly helpful, not only to me but also to my team as they have benefited (I hope!) from my learning and leading by example. I’ll say it again – it’s hard work, y’all. Give the gift to yourself; sign up; and buckle up – it’s worth the ride.

The Group Coaching and education within the Nonprofit Roundtable provided new resources that I was able to incorporate into my leadership and gave me an opportunity to talk through situations with the group to get new perspectives. The format was very accessible, easy to navigate and having skilled facilitators share their expertise was invaluable.
