Our Team

Intentional Coaching + Consulting offers a growing team of similarly certified and credentialed coaches. All coaches, at minimum, are Certified Professional Coaches and either hold (or are pursuing) a coaching credential from the International Coaching Federation. In addition, most team members hold advanced certifications or credentials in various methodologies or assessments. Nearly all coaches are certified from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC).

Erin Slater

Erin Slater (She/Her), owner of Intentional Coaching + Consulting maintains her own portfolio of clients while leading a growing team of outstanding certified coaches and credentialed coaches who also have non-profit experience.

Erin spent much of her career growing and leading a non-profit organization that now reaches ten states and serves 3,500 kids with nearly 100,000 annual volunteer service hours. She has experience as a program director, development director, and six years as CEO. While she led College Mentors for Kids, the organization doubled its number of volunteers, staff, and income while implementing strategic fundraising strategies and working collaboratively with the board and stakeholders to create a strategic direction for multi-state expansion. She received many accolades for her leadership and accomplishments, including the Indianapolis Business Journal’s 40 under 40 Award, Junior Achievement’s Indy’s Best & Brightest Award and the Torchbearer Award from the Indiana Commission on Women.

The organization she led received two Indiana Achievement Awards (for impact and sustainability) and Erin garnered national attention when featured on The Martha Stewart Show after winning the Dreamers into Doers Award.

Erin has the unique ability to be authentic, intentional, relational, and passionate while bringing inspiration, attentive listening, understanding, belief and confidence, and commitment to the success of her clients. Passionate about coaching, Erin serves for-profit and non-profit leaders and their teams. She helps to create clarity and focus while enhancing leadership and self-awareness. Clients report feeling more content and fulfilled in all aspects of their lives as a result of coaching.

Erin graduated with a degree in Health and Human Services from Purdue University. She is a Certified Professional Coach and Master Practitioner of the Energy Leadership Index (ELI) through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (IPEC), a certified Team and Leadership Coach through KickStart Your Edge, and is a credentialed Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coach Federation (ICF).

Ann Ritterspach

Ann Ritterspach (She/Her), Certified Professional Coach, brings 27 years of experience leading teams, developing leaders, and delivering results. Cross-functional roles across Operations, Marketing, and Client Management provide a valuable background to support clients in moving forward in their own leadership journey. In addition, Ann’s understanding of how to progress from a front-line associate to a senior executive within a Fortune 100 company offers a unique perspective. Before coaching, Ann led the non-profit affinity partnership program for Nationwide Insurance, partnering with 200+ non-profit organizations to develop mutually beneficial strategies to increase engagement, retention, and satisfaction. She loves high-potential leaders who want to advance to the next level in work and life, further deepen their skills as people leaders, develop executive presence, and increase communication and relationship-building. She supports clients in leading with confidence creating customized plans to move forward and achieve sustainable transformation while making them feel comfortable, challenged, and supported. Ann is a Certified Professional Coach and Energy Leadership Index Assessment Practitioner (ELI-MP), through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC). She is also certified through the Center for Creative Leadership for 360 Assessments for Leaders and Managers. She lives with her husband and son in Ohio.

Mark Brewer

Mark Brewer (He/Him) brings 19 years of experience with non-profit and faith-based organizations and nearly a decade as a coach. His Master’s degree in Theology/Religious Studies led him to serve as a minister/priest in the Roman Catholic Church for almost ten years, while his degrees and experience in accounting and finance served him as he led human resources and finance functions in the non-profit sector. For the past seven years, he has specialized in coaching in leadership development, trust and communication, confidence building, and helping teams develop thriving relationships. Mark is a Certified Professional Coach through the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching (IPEC), a Certified Corporate and Leadership Coach through KickStart Your Edge (KYSE), and a Certified Addiction Recovery Coach. He has received his Professional Certified Coach Credential (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Mark is an Energy Leadership Index Assessment Master Practitioner and is certified to administer the EQi 2.0 and EQ360 Emotional Intelligence Assessments. He is passionate about working with organizations, teams and people to move their lives and organizations to places they have never gone before! He works extensively with non-profit leaders and city/county government agencies. Mark lives with his husband in New York and is a member of the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce.

Steven Shultze

Steven Shultze (He/Him), is a Certified Professional Coach and applies years of leadership and personal development to help individuals and leaders who want to make a meaningful impact for themselves and those they serve. He challenges individuals to grow personally while enhancing individual leadership and team performance. Steven believes it is essential to understand our mindfulness as we grow and improve as leaders. He has worked with many global organizations, such as Chevron, BP, Warner Media, and American Express and spent 30 years in the U.S. Navy in nuclear propulsion and aviation organizations. Recently, he has coached many non-profit leaders and is passionate about the sector. Steve has a Bachelor of Business Administration, Master’s in Organizational Leadership, and coaching certifications from the Center for Executive Coaching and The Physical Intelligence Institute. He is also a Certified Professional Coach through iPEC with the Associate Certified Coach Credential from the International Coach Federation. He holds certifications in the Energy Leadership Index (ELI), Everything DiSC, and EQ-I 2.0 assessments. Steve is known to challenge thinking and walk alongside clients in their mission. When not coaching, he enjoys spending time with family in Texas, working on cars, and racing a vintage Volvo sedan.

Kelly Marchal

Kelly Marchal (She/Her) brings 24 years of experience in management and executive level roles in Finance and Human Resources, along with a lifetime of community involvement with coaching. With expertise in global logistics companies, she gained responsibility in finance and HR. Within HR, she was responsible for building a new business unit and held HR executive leadership assignments with units in Europe and Atlanta. In addition, she led strategic global employee engagement and talent mobility initiatives and sponsored the UPS Women’s Leadership Development groups in Richmond and Atlanta. Non-profit engagement has always been important to her. Inspired by the UPS Community Internship Program in New York City, she became involved with the United Way in Richmond, serving on the board and the Women’s Leadership Council, participating on the Women of Toqueville Cabinet, and as a volunteer with Wellspring Living. She holds a Bachelor’s from Virginia Tech, a MBA from the University of Richmond, and has completed the Management Skills for International Business Programme with INSEAD, The Business School for the World. Kelly received her coaching certification through iPEC. She believes that when we celebrate our unique strengths, gifts, and perspectives, we have more of ourselves to give and ultimately elevate collective impact. She and her husband are renovating an old home in Richmond, Virginia.

Beth Rashleigh

Beth Rashleigh (She/Her) is the President of Rashleigh Consulting and author of Crisis Proof Leadership. With almost two decades of experience helping leaders be their best, Beth shares her practical knowledge and personal experience to inspire others. Beth understands the challenges of working and leading in fast paced, high stress organizations. After working in several large healthcare organizations and at the Central Intelligence Agency, she knows how to empower and inspire leaders to create whole-hearted, high performance teams. Beth has a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Communication from Ball State University, a Master’s Degree from Indiana University and a Master’s Certificate in Organizational Learning from the University of Maryland. She is a Certified Professional Coach and a Master Practitioner in the Energy Leadership Index. Outside of work Beth can usually be found either cuddled up with a good book and one of her two dogs or in a theme park with her son and husband.

Ben Korte

Ben Korte (He/Him) As a transformation and leadership Coach, Ben Korte brings his authentic, calming presence, ability to listen and comprehend, and confidence as a leader and partner to create environments for transformational growth and insight. His expertise includes energetic awareness, leadership development, mental influencers, mental fitness, and personal empowerment. Ben utilizes his engineering and IT background with his unique personal experiences to connect and communicate with today’s professionals. Starting from management and technical development to his discovery of leadership coaching and daring experience of shifting career paths, Ben provides a perspective that meets his clients where they currently are. He has been a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America since 2015. Ben is a Certified Professional Coach and Energy Leadership Index Assessment Practitioner (ELI-MP), through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC). He is also certified through the Center for Creative Leadership for 360 Assessments for Leaders and Managers. Ben currently lives in Ohio and enjoys spending time outdoors and with friends and family.

Shermain Melton

Shermain Melton is a powerful, raw, and courageous truth-teller. An Executive Coach, consultant, teacher, and trusted advisor for over two decades. A Black, Christian gay man whose story is one of determination, authenticity, and growth. He hid a part of his identity for over 24 years because he feared being abandoned by the people he loved, alone, and that his career would be negatively impacted. He faced discrimination and poverty yet found the courage to create a new destiny, including financial freedom. An Author, International Speaker, and Leadership Coach, Shermain supports leaders who want to be more visible, authentic, and confident to positively amplify their impact. For over two decades, Shermain has been a leader, coach, consultant, teacher, and trusted advisor. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, and an MBA in business specializing in small business and entrepreneurship. He has earned the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) designation through the International Coaching Federation (ICF), is a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) through the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching (IPEC), a certified MTBI Practitioner through The Myers-Briggs Company, and a Certified Professional Leader through PeopleTek Coaching. Born in Orlando, he lives in the Phoenix desert and enjoys time spent with loved ones.

Arika Clark

Arika Clark (She/Her), Arika Clark Alejo brings 22 years of business experience as a mentor, coach, and educator. Arika has done extensive work with adults in diverse populations. For the first 16 years of her career, she owned and operated a sign language interpreter agency and taught at a local college. She has pivoted into life and leadership coaching for the last seven years. Her mission is to help people gain clarity, find and leverage purpose, and take action so that they can make a big impact in their world and the world around them. She specializes in coaching and creating multi-dimensional learning experiences. Arika holds certifications as a Certified Professional Coach, Corporate and Leadership Coach, and Associate Credentialed Coach through the International Coaching Federation (ICF). In addition, she is a certified administrator of the Energy Leadership Index and the Emotional Intelligence 2.0 assessments. Arika is fluent in English and ASL and serves on several non-profit boards, including Past President of the International Coaching Federation – Chicago. She spends her free time traveling with her family and growing food in her hydroponic garden. She and her partner live in Illinois with their daughter.

J Darrell Gascho

J Darrell Gascho (He/Him) With more than 25 years in leadership, Darrell serves a diverse group of clients: executives in both for-profit and nonprofit organizations, emerging leaders, athletes, entrepreneurs with growing startups, public school administrators, and all who desire to create big internal shifts in their lives to achieve outer results. In addition, Darrell facilitates groups on topics of leadership, self-awareness, team effectiveness, and embodied organizational mission and vision. He is committed to helping clients design a life they are passionate and excited to live. He is Certified Professional Coach and an Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP) through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), with an Associate Certified Coach credential from International Coaching Federation. Darrell is also an Enneagram Accredited Practitioner, Certified Talent Optimization Consultant and trained in Somatic Attachment Therapy. He is known for his strength of dynamic listening, vulnerability, compassion, and creating a safe space for challenging questions. Darrell is committed to helping people choose who they want to BE in the world. He enjoys connecting with nature, cooking, adventures, and meaningful conversations over a hot cup of coffee/tea. Darrell has three children and lives with his partner in Indiana.

Kc Rossi

Kc Rossi (She/Her) is an Executive Coach & Leadership Consultant who helps mission-driven executives optimize their performance, productivity, and profits while staying in alignment with their purpose. She’s been a full-time entrepreneur since 1991 and has built six and 7+ figure businesses. Kc is a Certified Mindset Coach, Emotional Intelligence Practitioner, and trained in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, which allows her to bring deep insight to her coaching. Kc is the Founder of The Soulprint Method®, an approach that profoundly helps teams develop trust, improve communication, and amplify engagement. She is also the host of 5-star Women Developing Brilliance® — The Spirit of Business podcast; a show dedicated to cultivating confidence, increasing visibility, elevating vibration, and leading with purpose. Christin Rice

Christin Rice (she/her) has always been deeply curious about how people become themselves and one of her greatest joys is partnering with her clients in that journey. With more than a decade of experience in leadership development, and a couple of decades as a creative writer, she believes that when we are authentic we create true connections with others, the art the world needs us to create, lives worth living, a positive ripple effect in the world, joy, purpose, love, and wholeness, and that this world needs whole people. Her professional journey includes time in leadership development, consulting, curriculum design, and facilitation. Her creative writing journey includes crafting fiction (novels and short stories) and nonfiction (mini-memoir pieces), as well as time as a Litquake board member. Her educational journey includes a B.A. in Religious Studies, an M.Div, and an MFA. And her coaching journey includes certification through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (IPEC) and Master Practitioner of the Energy Leadership Index (ELI). She lives in San Francisco, CA with her preschooler, her partner, and her cat.

Julie Breckenfelder

Julie focuses her coaching on personal growth and professional excellence. Clients hire Julie to get what they want. No more settling. No more faking it. No more “shoulds.” Clients give her the permission to ask the challenging questions, hold them accountable to the answers, and inspire forward moving action. When things get in the way, Julie creates the non-judgement space (and tools) for clients to dig-in, expand their awareness, and remove the blinders. That’s when true change transpires. Clients get powerful, measurable, and oftentimes unexpected results. This all happens through on-going discussion, reflection, and action. It takes time. It requires vulnerability. And it isn’t something people are forced into, they choose to do it and are committed. Prior to coaching, Julie spent 14 years as a Business-to-Business marketer in both the corporate and agency settings. She earned her B.B.A. in Marketing/Management from Northwood University and received her M.B.A. in Management/Strategy at Loyola Chicago’s Quinlan School of Business. On days of rest you can find Julie with her husband and pup-dog Charlie mindfully boating, traveling, reading, or cooking up a new dish.

Kate D’Imperio

Kate has a passion for working with leaders who want to show up confidently at work, in their relationships and in the world. She has a unique ability to facilitate transformative shifts in perspective and empowers clients to take action toward meaningful change. Whether it’s a challenging workplace dynamic or a personal ambition, she is dedicated to guiding individuals towards showing up authentically and powerfully.
